Brewer’s Choice Awards Winners!

We’re delighted and deeply humbled to have won two prizes at this year’s Brewers Choice Awards. Our Helles (unfiltered lager, 4.4%) was awarded ‘Beer of the Year’ and we were also crowned ‘Brewery of the Year 2022’!

On winning the prize for Helles, our co-founder Alex says, It’s great to see a lager win ‘Beer of the Year 2022’. We’re so proud of the crisp, clean profile of our Helles and thrilled that the judges agree!

The ceremony on the 8th December ends the first day of exhibitions and talks of the annual Brewers Congress, held in London at the Business Design Centre. The awards recognise and celebrate the hard work of breweries throughout the year, across a range of categories, and sponsored by leading brewery manufacturers and suppliers.

We were notified back in September that we had been shortlisted for three categories; ‘Brewery of the Year’, ‘Beer of the Year’ and ‘Branding of the Year’ with our Dog Day Afternoon Kolsch-style beer. The submissions were deliberated by a panel of expert judges with knowledge and experience from across the brewing industry and the winners were announced at the glittering London event.

Since first establishing in 2016 we set our four core values: Humble, Inclusive, Clever and Raw, which defines our culture and guides us in the everyday running of the brewery. We value and support our team so it is no coincidence that we called ourselves Lost and Grounded ‘Brewers’. It’s the people that make Lost and Grounded Brewers, otherwise we’re just a shed filled with stainless steel! enthuses Alex.

When asked about winning the award for Brewery of the Year, Annie [our co-founder and creative lead] blushes, We are incredibly proud of our team. We’re so pleased to share these awards with them and we look forward to raising a glass to celebrate with them all!
